RJD/HVRE Monthly Meeting for August

At the end of every month, the members of RunJumpDev, Louisville Makes Games, HVRE, and several other members get together to either host a guest speaker from the video game industry, or have a coinciding theme where we all can present projects we have been working on. As for last month's meeting (for August, as the title implies so subtly), HVRE was able to show off a 10 minute montage-like video of interviews of all of the different developers for this year's project, "Dreams."

Shylo Shepherd was the speaker for the team, and discussed how the Rules and Play Exhibit of 2017 affected how our games came out for this project, mentioned what plans we had for the rest of the year regarding Dreams (which entailed setting up and showing off at Transylvania Art Gallery alongside another VR exhibit made by local developers and also our role in this year's Lexplay gaming convention that will be held in downtown Lexington at Rupp Arena in the middle of October), and gave out a snippet of where we planned on taking HVRE for the subsequent year; which for a tidbit to you readers out there, it might have more to do with AR then actual VR!
