For those of you who have been keeping tabs with our project throughout this year - and even for those who haven't, but have just found out about our little project, recently - this was our last official week to work on the latest (and last) Beta version of our game, "Mortimer's Mansion!" This next month coming up - October - will be used to finalize our plans for presenting our game at this year's local video game convention, entitled LexPlay (www.lexplaycon.com), to fine-tune certain aspects of our Beta (to create a gold release), and to squeeze in some final testing before we present it to everyone (in which our last, true testing session will be at Awesome Inc, this week, starting after the Hurdles program they have there every Tuesday).

As for updates for this past week, most of the team had their noses to the grindstone, trying to implement very important models and systems in the last moments of production (or as it's known by some, "the crunch"). among some of the changes - which are plenty - is the addition of a few "new" puzzles (which are, in fact, revamped versions of their predecessors), new effects for certain puzzles (like animations, audio effects, etc.), new audio tracks (made by our buddy Mello), updated models of older ones (like new busts and chimera pieces we got to play with), and better scripts to make everything coincide with one another even better! We also had some friends (Zack and Drew - of which Drew was actually present at last week's meeting, as well) drop by to see how we've progressed, and even donned the Vive headset once again to experience our newest additions and we even accepted two late-comers to the project (Bill and the aforementioned Zack), who hopes to help with whatever we can give them! As for what everyone out there can expect from us for this upcoming month, until our big debut, will be smaller updates, letting you all know where and how you can come see this year's game (among many other games, both of the VR and regular kinds) at this first year of LexPlay! I personally would like to think everyone involved (Shylo, Leonard, and Shea, especially) for allowing people like myself - who doesn't have too much experience in the making of games, but still shares an undying love for the hobby, nonetheless - to work alongside those who have experience in the industry and to gain both experiences and insights into the actual process of team-based developing. As I had said previously, I will continue to update everyone (more than likely on Tuesdays or Wednesdays from now on), up until the last weekend of October. Thanks to everyone who has been a part of this fine community of gamers and developers!
