This week's "Mansion of Mortimer" meeting (for 07/11-07/17) went rather well and actually lasted longer than expected, and we had even more new faces show up; being Olivia (one of our awesome modelers) and her friend from EKU in Richmond. Shylo (the producer and main-brain behind the game itself) had a surprise for the rest of the dev team, by showing off an early version of the 2nd version of the entire VR space (in particular, the main wing of the mansion's library), in which textures and more geometry was added; so that we could get a better feel for the level, itself!

Everyone got to take a turn with the Vive headset - to get a feel for the newly-designed space - and then we ended the meeting with an in-depth conversation on exactly where this project is heading for the next few weeks. Leonard discussed with all of us, at length, the importance of a "snap system" that most of the puzzles would be able to utilize, Olivia and Chris talked about where they were in their 2nd versions of their puzzle's models, Shea and Vince were able to give sound coding advice of certain aspects (having virtual hands showing or not, being one topic in mind), and Shylo reminded us of our version 2 deadline (which will be on the 14th of August), in which we decided we needed to start buckling down on finding the right amount and types of testers for our various versions.

With that being said, we are still taking in anyone who is interested in the video game development processes, playing video games, or just like to hear about the newest trends in VR. So, if you feel that you are any or all of the above, please feel free to fill out a simple form at our main website (at this link: http://bit.ly/29Nx5Kx) and we will contact you soon with the date in which you could show up and test away!

I, personally, am proud to be involved with this project, with this group, and we can't wait to bring everyone out there something interesting and possibly ground-breaking for this year's LexPlay Convention (http://lexplaycon.com/)!
