This week's meeting (for the week of 06/27-07/03) was very productive: more puzzles were able to be implemented and slightly tested in the VR space, certain coding problems and challenges were met and conquered, a type of "game manager" for the timing of hints for the puzzles was created, narratives have been implemented into the puzzles even more, more of the Puzzle Spreadsheet has been filled out, and various other things. To elaborate a little bit, each of us took a turn with the Vive to test out the various new puzzles put into the game; including a bust to admire, animal pieces to throw around like confetti, a globe to play with, and Vince amazed everyone with his creation of an actual working lighter that can light candles, and then he brought in a modeled "snuffer" that can even put the candles out!

At the end of the meeting, we all discussed what To Do, what Needs To Be Done, and what Had Been Done (which luckily for those with a bad memory, ties in with our Trello board quite nicely). We felt confident enough to agree that some of us could start moving on to working with version 2 coding, models, textures, etc., and are hopeful that our mid-August milestone of having a playable version 2 of our game will be a very real (...or virtual?) reality!
For those reading this who are not directly involved - but would like to be somehow - just check out the main page of this Wix site to find a link to sign up for play testing multiple versions of the game...or just go to this link: http://bit.ly/29i0pJ9 (this is just a shortened "Bitly" url, it is not a virus waiting to happen; I promise, lol).
Thank you to those who are keeping up with this project and its amazing team in all of our many internet forms (YouTube, Google Hangouts, Facebook, etc.), and look forward to a consistent Blog with weekly updates (and perhaps even more) at the beginning of each week until the the day our project will be presented later this year at the first Lexplay Conference in Lexington Kentucky; in which you can find out more here: http://www.lexplaycon.com!
